The Dominican Day Parade in Manhattan was scheduled to start at 11 am.
It followed 6th Avenue, marching north from 36th Street to 55th Street.
The parade is an annual celebration of Dominican culture and heritage, featuring music, dancing, colourful costumes, and floats.
We saw none of that. After a late start, followed by 30 minutes of various NYPD groups and long waits in between, we got fed up and left.

Behind the horses, you have the cleanup crew.
